Q. What is KRNIC ?
A. KRNIC stands for Korea Network Information Center. Many countries around the world have 'NIC' which manages
     their own national Internet resources. For example, there is JPNIC in Japan, CNNIC in China and Korea has KRNIC.
     KRNIC was incorporated in June 1999. With the establishment of Korea Internet & Security Agency(KISA) in 2009.
     KRNIC is carrying out its roles as a Internet resources management organization under KISA.

Q. What are the roles of KRNIC ?
A. KRNIC is in charge of the coordination of Korean Internet resources, such as
    - the allocation and assignment of the Internet protocol ("IP") addresses and autonomous system ("AS") numbers
    - the management of kr domain and development of kr domain policy
    - the operation and evolution of DNS, etc.

A. Registrant must abide by the following terms and conditions
     1. Registrants must have the local presence within Korea
     2. Registrants must meet certain that is classified by characteristics of the 2nd level domains
